Quick update on house

We have found a house! It’s not perfect. It is small and not in the suburb I wanted but it’s still a great area. It has all the features we wanted: separate laundry room, not too old, garage, 3 bedrooms, and so forth.
We have met with the financing people but they need a copy of the contract before they could begin their work. So we have met with the lawyer (or as the locals say, Solicitor — sounds kinky doesn’t it??). We just now need to sign the contract, give a copy to the financing people, set up a home inspection (builder’s inspection in Australia), and then if all goes well, just wait until closing (or as the locals say, settlement)! Woo hoo!
