Money for buying a house!

The Prime Minister of Australia, Kevin Rudd (not to sure what he does, I’m assuming he’s like the President - still trying to get a hang of the government here) announced yesterday that he hopes to give first time home buyers in Australia $14,000 to go toward the purchase of their first home and if it’s a newly constructed home it will be $21,000 as part of rebuilding Australia’s economy. Apparently, we qualify for that as we have never owned a home in Australia. Woohoo! We’re getting some free money for our house! YAY! Oh Yea! Oh Yea! Unfortunately, it’s still not enough to get a decent house in this part of Australia but whatever money we can get is very nice!
