I must be finally converting because I entered an AFL footy competition for the first time yesterday! Mind you, I had no idea what I was doing. I had no strategy other than, yeah that sounds like a winning team. Let’s see how my lack of strategy works.
The reason for the Melbourne trip was to take MJ to see one of his favourite bands perform, Garbage! More on that later. From the airport, we took the Skybus into their city terminal which we then transferred to a shuttle that left us a block away from the hotel. I would have preferred door […]
If you remember, one of the first times I went to Melbourne, I didn’t like it. I thought it was crowded and lacked a variety of food. I still think it’s very crowded and a lot of people spend more time looking down at their phones rather than looking at where they’re walking. Some people […]
Just came back from Melbourne for a short 2 day vacation (holiday). I love to see different parts of the world but I hate the whole process of traveling. The packing – making sure you are covered for every possible scenario. What if it rains? Umbrella packed. What if it’s cold when it says it’s […]

As I was looking through the clutter on our desk, I realized I have lots of forms I need to send out…soon. There were a dozen copies of voter registration/absentee ballots request in the pile from months ago. I finally sent those out yesterday. Now I just have to wait for the ballots to get […]
I’m not one for sports. I’m too much of a girl…not a girly girl but just a plain Jane who’s just not into sports so I never really watched the Olympics before, until now. After all these years of not watching the Olympics, I’m truly surprised that I’ve watched a fair bit of it but […]
